Cracked Wheel Repair

Rimguard can weld cracked rims using high quality aluminum TIG welding. Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding is an arc welding process that uses a tungsten electrode to produce the weld. The weld area is protected from contamination by an inert gas such as argon. TIG welding is more complex and difficult to master than most other welding techniques. At Rimguard, our crack repair team has been trained by a master certified tig welder specializing in aluminum rims. We use top quality, Miller welding equipment. Joe and John make up the Rimguard crack repair team, and they take great care to ensure your rims are safe for your family to ride on.

Some cracked rims are unsafe to repair. If your rim is cracked along the spoke of your rim, or the crack is too long, we will not repair it. Your safety is our main concern and our trained technicians will determine what is safe for repair and what is not. If your rim is not repairable, we can locate an O.E. Replacement Rim. If you have an aftermarket rim, you will need to contact the manufacturer for a replacement.

If you have a cracked rim, contact us today for a free estimate!
